Intermediate Level

Intermediate level group swim lessons work on perfecting all the skills learned at the Beginner level while building strength, stamina, and improving technique.

Intermediate

Goals:

  • Comfortable in, around, and under the water.
  • Independently change direction in the water.
  • Begin free style arms (chopping fruit).
  • Breathing with stroke (1-2-3 breathing).
  • Learn proper free style kicks.
  • Variety of entries into the water.
  • Expand on our work with pool safety and what to do in an emergency.
